Megablock Charrette Winners Announced
Thanks again to everyone for your participation and amazing work. After much deliberation, the jurors have recognized the following projects. It should be noted that many additional projects received votes from the jurors and that the voting was very competitive.Jury comments on the winning schemes will be posted here shortly. The competition has also been submitted to Urban China Magazine for possible publication. Additional news on exhibitions and publications will be posted on this website in the coming month.

Entries in the 2008 Megablock Charrette have been published in the 35th issue of Urban China Magazine, entitled "How to be Holistic?" and guest edited by Neville Mars.
Jeffrey Johnson Named as Co-Director Of 2013 UABB*SZ
5th Urbanism\Architecture Bi-City Biennale*Shenzhen
Jeffrey Johnson was selected as co-academic director of the 5th Urbanism\Architecture Bi-City Biennale*Shenzhen (UABB*SZ). For the first time, the biennale will be delivered by two curatorial teams, consisting of Team Ole Bouman and Team Li Xiangning + Jeffrey Johnson. The UABB*SZ is schedule for December 2013.

China Megacities Lab's research on the Future of the Museum in China is currently exhibited at the Powerstation of Art, in Shanghai, as part of the exhibition "Spectacle," curated by ZHANG Ming, BU Bing, ZHANG Jiajing.
China Megacities Lab 2013 Summer Workshops Kick-Off in Beijing
The 2013 China Megacities Lab Summer Workshops kick off in Beijing. The wokshops will run from July 24 - August 3, 2013. The Future of the Museum in China Workshop in collaboration with Studio Pei-Zhu will continue to develop research conducted over the past year on the state of the museum building boom in China. Reframe: Public Spaces for New Gonghua City is a joint workshop with Central Academy of Fine Arts and Urbanus that will focus on defining criteria for public space in a new urban development northwest of Beijing.
